The State of Colorado has made significant advancements to ensure all Coloradans have equitable and affordable access to high quality care. Colorado's 2021 Health Information Technology Roadmap, developed by OeHI and the eHealth Commission, lays out the vision of the work ahead to ensure health information technology and digital health solutions reach all 5.7 million Coloradans, especially those uninsured or receiving state benefits such as Medicaid - approximately 1.4 million people.

In this role, you will be a leader who deeply understands how health technology works (in the US and State of Colorado), is passionate about combining technology, innovation, collaboration, and policy to improve healthcare delivery, and understands how to inspire teams, communities, and leaders to catalyze impactful and lasting change. The Office of eHealth Innovation (OeHI) was established in 2015, through Executive Order B 2015-008, to help accelerate technology-driven health transformation by aligning public and private initiatives in support of Colorado's health goals and strategies as outlined in Colorado’s Health IT Roadmap. OeHI is part of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor and  Health Care Policy Financing (HCPF), the State’s Medicaid agency, is OeHI’s fiscal agent. OeHI, advised by the eHealth Commission, promotes expanded and meaningful use of health IT and advanced data sharing and analytics, while establishing mechanisms for open and transparent statewide collaboration to drive progress towards a more effective and efficient health care system that saves Coloradans money on health care.
